Dr. Philippa Cook

I am a researcher in the collaborative research team, called SFB 632, Information-Structure and work in project A6 Constraint-based modelling of information structure in German, French and Spanish funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation).

I am a linguist working in constraint-based syntax and especially on the interaction between syntax and information structure.

During the past year (April 2011 - April 2012), I was on leave from the research project here in Berlin and was acting chair of English (April - Sept. 2011) and then of German Linguistics (Oct. 2011 - April 2012) at the Georg-August University of Göttingen.
